Key Resources
Let's be honest here, nobody goes hiking because they love to dig through websites trying to find the right tools and resources they need. The purpose of our resources page is to cleanly and concisely lay out the many sites, organizations, and downloadable tools that we have found to be useful in keeping us safe and prepared on the trail. We are hikers as well, and we would much rather be out on the trail hiking (and maybe getting lost...), than be wandering through a forest of useless websites on our computers and phones trying to figure out what gear to bring and where to go.
About Us
Levi Smith
Levi is a fellow wanderer, traveler, and tree lover. He holds the strange dichotomy of being fascinated and driven by the technological advancements of yesterday and today, while also despising all of it in lieu of the beautiful simplicity of the woods and the peaceful completeness of nature. He strives to find a love and appreciation for all things, whether it be science or philosophy, the forgotten forest or the bustling city, the mountains' grand peaks or the simplicity of the plains, the graceful deer or even the nasty mosquito. He is also an avid reader of Calvin and Hobbes, a Tolkien fan, a math nerd, and maybe even a secluded hermit at times.
